About Us:

Pacific Coast Tactical is a family owned on-line retailer that began as Pacific Coast Firearms in 1984.  At that time our store was located in Glendale, California and was opened by my father and I.  We employed some of my close friends that I had worked with at Professional Ambulance in Glendale, California. From 1984-1986 we enjoyed serving the residents of the La Crescenta, Glendale and La Canada area of Los Angeles County.  After the closing of the store, my father and I jumped from the firearms business into the EMS business and I went back to my roots of working at an ambulance company.  After 43 years in EMS I finally retired in March 2023.

With the advent of the internet and sites such as Ebay and Gunbroker, Pacific Coast Firearms became Pacific Coast Sporting Goods in 2004 and then Pacific Coast Tactical in 2023.

Personally I have been around firearms since I was about 12 years old.  I started reloading my own ammo when I was 14 and have been reloading ever since then. My favorite reloading product is RCBS, but the other manufacuters products are just as good.  Today the quality of products for the reloader is vast and fantastic.

You will see on our website that we sell mostly tactical gear. We have found the products from both 5.11 Tactical and Under Armour to be fantastic and affordable. Going forward we will be selling other types of products such as  fishing and camping items. I was taught to fish by my wife's uncle on the shores of Lake San Antonio in the Paso Robles area of California.  There I learned how to properly bait a hook and to land some of the best tasting channel cat's around.  From there I took what I learned and starting fishing the Eastern Sierra lakes of California.  Specifically, Lake George, Gull Lake, Lower Twin Lake in Mammoth, and any other stream or lake we could find.  My family and I have made it a tradition to go to the Mammoth Lakes area to fish for the past 27 years.

We developed this website to bridge the gap between large box stores and folks that want to purchase items from a "mom and pop" store. Like they say  "Bigger is not always better".  "Better is Better."  We thank you for visting our website, any questions you might have will always be answered promptly, and even though you can't see us, your question will always be answered with a smile.

Thank you for visiting Pacific Coast Tactical, we look forward to serving you.
